Happy New Year

I wish everyone a happy new year and a good fair well to the passing year.

We are just about to finish our new years eve party with 15 people passing out.
We finished a hell of a lot bottles and canes in order to celebrate the end of 2007 in respect of the good and bad times that we have had and shared.
Tomorrow we will have to see how many found room in our guest rooms/beds and start cleaning the mess up. It was for some a more or less good time here of quite emotional conversations :)
It is interesting for me to see how alcohol and the symbolic passing of a year makes ever one sentimental.
Well anyways I hope that you all have had a good time as well.

Good Night

I woke up this morning to finally say good bye to the horrible X-Mas season of 2007.
With the depressing phase of the year over I am not looking forward to the years end!

Forgotten I consider all the draw backs of this year and I will focus on the accomplishments to enjoy the wonderful part of the year: the Happy New Years Eve Party.

I am planning on cooking a cheese soup and some meaty stuff as well as potato salad with vinegar and onions and the usual mini sandwiches :)

After 4 weeks of hardly eating anything, that shopping tour today will feel like the fresh rain on a summer evening.

I have not noted it down before I believe but I got fired from work ^_^ after realizing that the job I was aiming for is only to be given to cheaper countries and after realizing that my bosses views about who shall receive a bonus each quarter (apart from cutting my bonus 2 times he also cut the bonus of a dear friend for the reason that he got promoted to a different team after my friend worked his butt off for 3 month), I decided to make them fire me and in so doing they had no other choice but to pay me 1 month of sweet holiday.

I will write my CV now these days and pass it on.
*Memo to self: Remove Blue Skies from the song list, time to get into the new years feeling, stop playing games that much and enjoy the daily sport again.*

Things to enjoy

Skimming through movies without sound while having a certain fitting song running in the background.

Watching the stars and asking what would be if you could be up their and change their fate if its going ill.

Drinking beer on a chair with a smoke while seing the wind brush through the trees in the cold winters night.

Taking a deep breath through a smoke and feeling the Nikotin rushing through your body when watching the nightly sky's passing clouds and wishing to swim with them in the ocean of the nightfall.

Enjoying the night for its calmness and cleaness. All things are in order at night and the slightest change around you will find its way in your consciousness in always funny new ways.

Letting your feets choose a road for you and being surprised by the steps and places you will find.

Enjoying the life of a mortal while thinking about being immortal.

I felt changed when seing/reading about a man who was standing up with his dreams against all odds. Seing that hope can be a part of the own strenght, has ever since in-companied my life.

Boredom

A friend gave me that link to bash.org
So I am going to write down the first few funny one i found:

http://bash.org/?287414
**ya thats what I call a good friendship ... :/**

hm. I've lost a machine.. literally _lost_. it responds to ping, it works completely, I just can't figure out where in my apartment it is.
**I can sooo feel with him**

http://bash.org/?99060
Either they are very obsidian to her/him or like his story ...

If u like Harry Potter - will want to read that one:
http://bash.org/?111338

I still like the truth of that one over all others or is it just me?

A woman has a close male friend.
This means that he is probably interested in her, which is why he hangs around so much.
She sees him strictly as a friend. This always starts out with, you're a great guy, but I don't like you in that way.
This is roughly the equivalent for the guy of going to a job interview and the company saying, You have a great resume, you have all the qualifications we are looking for, but we're not going to hire you.
We will, however, use your resume as the basis for comparison for all other applicants. But, we're going to hire somebody who is far less qualified and is probably an alcoholic. And if he doesn't work out, we'll hire somebody else, but still not you. In fact, we will never hire you. But we will call you from time to time to complain about the person that we hired.

*Who knows what I am talking about? Raise hands now :)* *raises hands*

I feel a bit bored atm so I gonna go out and spy on other peoples answers to the LJ questions.
The subject of interest is: What's the worst pickup line you've ever heard?

Since I love those lines for the fun of it, let's start with one that made me fall from my chair:

My Love For You Is Like Diarrhea, I Just Can't Keep It In!!...

Next one:

Is there a mirror in your pants? Cause i can see myself in them.

Okay if that did not worked you gonna jump on me if u hear that:

"Hey babe, last night i met your mom and....i like you better now babe."

In order to calm down here is a nice one:

1) Say "You've got a beep on your face. "

(victim goes "what?")

Then you squeeze their nose and go, "beep"

2) "If I were moose and you were a duck, and we had sex, that would make a mooseduck, which would sound like this." then make the oddest noise possible.

I might gonna try that one out.

I've got a mail from a project manager last night:

Stefan,

Was our call centre at fault here too? Please could you follow up?

Regards,

****

There was a complaint made against 1h before that which I send of to my complaint manager :) actually I am that but someone else believes to be responsible for it. Not that she has any kind of technical knowledge or could even understand a ticket. Tickets keep details of the case, you can imagine it is quite hard to reply without understanding it. Well for that Stefan is always there isn't he?

Anyhow I think my mood made me quite hard on that reply:

Hi ****,

I don’t remember that we are fault here in the first place. Well with 18827879 Isabelle is busy at the moment.

We might have done a few things in the past but our FCR on MI is still above all other CC and I can not recall that we are now labelled as guilty for all complains.

***some where after the full review***
As I said before: I am not aware that we are guilty in bad support and I would hope to change the overall perception of that.

----
Anyhow I think I was right but also far to straight on her, the poor girl gets more kicked then loved at the moment but at least she got a husband to make her smile ^_^

They seem to forget that I love that bunch of agents and take wrong bad words against them quite personal :) It's my family here for Christ sake ... don't touch them. If so it's needed, I will do it and no one else.

changes

Every change is accompanied with a certain amount of joy and sadness.
The question is: how much of each, the change brings and how long will you clung to each part of it.

While pre-last night I could not sleep -.- - have to admit watching "Identity" until 4am and then oversleep till 9 is quite nice. Could be nicer if I did not had to go to work with 1h of lateness.
This night was even better, I did not slept at all. I am quite awake for that state I am in atm.
*hugs the remains of the big bottle of Coke in his backpack*

Let me see what the day will bring and I have to offer.

Planet Hell Lyrics
Artist(Band):Nightwish

Denying the lying
A million children fighting
For lives in strife
For hope beyond the horizon

A dead world
A dark path
Not even crossroads to choose from
All the blood red carpets before me
Behold this fair creation of God

My only wish to leave behind
All the days of the earth
An everyday hell of my kingdom come

The first rock thrown again
Welcome to hell, little Saint
Mother Gaia in slaughter
Welcome to paradise, soldier

My first cry neverending
All life is to fear for life
You fool, you wanderer
You challenged the gods and lost

Save yourself a penny for the ferryman
Save yourself and let them suffer
In hope
In love
This world ain't ready for The Ark

Save yourself a penny for the ferryman
Save yourself and let them suffer
In hope
In love
Mankind works in mysterious ways

Welcome Down
To my
Planet Hell

Save yourself a penny for the ferryman
Save yourself and let them suffer
In hope
In love
This world ain't ready for The Ark

Save yourself a penny for the ferryman
Save yourself and let them suffer
In hope
In love
Mankind works in mysterious ways

That beautiful day started with bad dreams and a crappy time at work.
But I have found a good song so I am amused again about all.
It is not on youtube yet but I have added it. (I will add link as soon as it is there.)

Relief Is Just A Swallow Away

Standin' in a tavern feelin' blue
My foot on the rail, and my mind on you
But I won't be blue all day
Because relief - is just a swallow away

I've been blue before and I be again
I'll drown all my troubles or I'll teach 'em how to swim
And I won't be the one to pay
Because relief - is just a swallow away

Well I look in the mirror and what do I see
A sad looking face looking back at me
I like to turn time a few days back
get of this one way track

You're not the first to hurt me and you won't be the last
I don't know the future, but I've learned from the past
And as long as there'd a cabaret
I know relief - is just a swallow away

Well I look in the mirror and what do I see
A sad looking face looking back at me
I like to turn time a few days back
to get of this one way track

You're not the first to hurt me and you won't be the last
I don't know the future, but I've learned from the past
And as long as there'd a cabaret
I know relief - is just a swallow away

Words can be the difference on days as this.
As they brought people up and down in the world it will do the same for me today.
I think it is time again for a calm day to think of the good things in life: Work :)
The whole weeks development was working on getting me to the Dominion tonight again.
I have abandoned that place for far too long.
I will have free the set back posts I believe ... so far you only see the bad days *duck and cover* Not sure but I have good once too.

The best words for the month towards my work are from someone that does not even work in EMEA.
Why can I not chose my colleagues as I wish? There is more to that story of course but to make it short I just add the mail.

Hi Stefan, just passing along the note. CSAT scores across EMEA show you guys are making the difference, thank you for that. I know we got everybody onboard is working double pace to ensure things go right, but at the end there are many things to factor in. As you stated we wish mistakes would never happen, but if we are real, we are forecasting that some mistakes will happen. The key factor is to ensure we learn from those mistakes. No matter how many communications, trainings, 1:1 sessions you have with someone, there is always chance for something to go wrong J Thanks again hope to host you in Tiquicia!
